New Beginning

New Beginning,
But what they forget is something is
Ending.
All things suddenly left unsaid
The pain in each others eyes…
Look away…
Can’t bear the pain
The Empty moments
The feelings inside
A word....
Suddenly emotions flare,
We’re raging...
Crying...
Holding nothing back...
Going to far...
Saying too much...
That you can’t take back
Damage…
Is done
No ones wrong,
No ones right,
Confusion reigns,
You have a moment...
Think you could stay,
Breaking this would so messy,
But it won’t ever be the same
Change happens too fast,
Then too slowly
Restlessness is supreme
There is nothing to hold onto
While your whole life is unraveling;
Everything fraying at the seams.
Try to occupy your mind,
Any distraction will do,
Keep the grieving at bay.
But it will come,
And you won’t want it to.
It could be a song playing that
suddenly displays your life together
Like a movie in your minds eye
And it's having it’s way with you.
It could be the ordinary occurances
You do everyday and suddenly
Realizing that it will never be the same;
It’s your last fall together
And it’s not even happy, for memories sake
Your friends try to comfort
And you even think, you Believe…..
That it’s a new beginning!
